Concept
The Double-Layer System for UVA and UVB radiation blocks harmful solar radiation even better and more efficiently after an upgrade, even at high temperatures.
The Water-Gel Base with glacier milk and Ice Plants extracts absorbs quickly into the skin and provides an unparalleled moisture boost. At the same time, the gel pleasantly cools the skin and ensures a soft, smooth skin texture.
Thanaka has been used in Myanmar for over 2000 years to soothe and cool particularly sensitive skin. Antozone rose extract protects your skin from harmful external influences such as smog or ozone.
Answers to the 3 most frequently asked questions about sun protection:
How much sunscreen should be used?
For the face, use a fingertip amount; for the body, an amount equivalent to half a palm.
How often do I need to apply sun protection?
To ensure perfect sun protection, you should reapply the light sunscreen every three hours.
When should I apply my sunscreen?
Sun protection needs 30 minutes to fully take effect. Apply it particularly carefully to areas most exposed to the sun, such as the forehead, cheeks, under the eyes, and on the bridge of the nose.
Organic versus Chemical Sunscreen:
Organic Sunscreen: Forms a thin protective layer and reflects UV radiation. It is hypoallergenic and has extra strong adhesion.
Chemical Sunscreen: Absorbs and neutralizes UV radiation. It has a fresh, light texture, is non-sticky, and leaves no white finish.
SPF and PA Index:
SPF protects against UVB radiation (sunburn): UVB radiation does not penetrate deep into the skin layers but causes painful sunburn and irritation.
PA protects against UVA radiation: UVA radiation penetrates the skin and causes wrinkles, pigmentation, and skin cancer. The PA value of a sunblock indicates protection against UVA radiation; the "+" indicates the PPD value of the sunblock (persistent pigment darkening, i.e., how much slower the skin darkens compared to unprotected skin). PA +++ means it takes 8-16 times longer than without sun protection for the skin to react to UVA rays. PA++ means less than 8, PA++++ at least 16 times longer.
