Rezept für Mapo tofu


Ingredients

For 2–3 servings

  • 1 packet UNICURD Silken Tofu (300 g, red)
  • ½ packet BAIJIA Mapo Tofu seasoning mix (approx. 50 g, depending on desired spiciness)
  • 200 g ROYAL THAI Jasmine rice
  • 100 g minced meat (pork or beef)
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1–2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 180 ml water
  • (Optional: a little soy sauce or sesame oil)

Step by step

STEP 1
Wash the jasmine rice according to package instructions and cook with 1.5 times the amount of water. Keep warm.

STEP 2
Carefully cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.

STEP 3
Heat a pan/wok with oil and brown the minced meat until crumbly (2–3 minutes).

STEP 4
Add the BAIJIA seasoning mix to the meat and briefly roast.

STEP 5
Pour in 180 ml of water, stir, and bring to a boil once.

STEP 6
Carefully add the tofu cubes to the sauce and simmer over low heat for 3–4 minutes.

STEP 7
Cut the spring onions into fine rings and sprinkle over.

STEP 8
Serve with jasmine rice. Enjoy your meal!
