Dan Dan Noodle is one of the most popular noodle dishes from Sichuan, China. It is a spicy noodle dish with Sichuan pepper, pickled mustard greens, peanuts, dried shrimp, and garlic as the main ingredients. This noodle dish was invented in 1841 by a street vendor named Chan Construction Construction. He sold his noodles while carrying them on the street with a half-bamboo pole called "Tiu" on his shoulder. Hence the name "Dan Dan Noodle".
