Rezept für Rice paper dumplings with kimchi
Ingredients
For 2 servings (8 dumplings)
- 1 chili pepper
- 160g kimchi
- 200g firm tofu
- 4 spring onions
- 1 small shallot
- 2cm fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 16 sheets of large rice paper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- some sesame
step by step
STEP 1
Finely chop the chili, shallot, garlic, ginger and kimchi
STEP 2
Wash the spring onions and cut into fine rings
STEP 3
Roughly crumble the tofu into a bowl with your fingers
STEP 4
Add chili, shallot, garlic, ginger, kimchi and spring onions to the tofu. Also add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and mix everything together
STEP 5
Let the filling steep for a few minutes and season to taste if necessary
STEP 6
Lightly moisten 1 piece of rice paper, place 2 tablespoons of filling on it and fold it into a rectangle; Moisten a second sheet of rice paper and wrap the first bag in it again so that everything is tightly sealed
STEP 7
When all the rice paper dumplings are ready, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large pan and fry the dumplings on both sides until crispy
STEP 8
For the sauce, put all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well
STEP 9
Sprinkle the dumplings with sesame seeds and serve with sauce
