Ingredients

- 1 egg
- 80g milk
- 70g neutral oil
- 150 g glutinous rice flour
- 50g sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 30 g cornstarch

STEP 1
Separate the egg and beat the egg white until stiff
STEP 2
In a large bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, starch, salt, baking powder and sugar
STEP 3
In a second bowl, mix together the milk, oil and egg yolks
STEP 4
Add this mixture to the dry ingredients in the large bowl and stir to combine
STEP 5
Then carefully fold in the egg whites and preheat the waffle iron
STEP 6
Fill the waffle iron generously and bake the waffles over medium heat
STEP 7
Remove waffles when lightly browned and serve hot
