Korean tacos traditionally combine South American corn husks with Korean sauces and beef bulgogi. With our vegetarian version you don't have to compromise on taste at all.
By the way: for vegan Korean tacos you can simply use vegan mayonnaise and vegan cream cheese.

Rezept für Korean tacos with tofu


Ingredients

Makes 8 tacos

  • 8 taco shells
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 red onion
  • 200 g grilled flavored tofu
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 100 g kimchi (vegan)
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp Kewpie mayo
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup
  • 1 tsp mirin
  • 1 sprig of fresh coriander

step by step

STEP 1
Finely chop garlic, ginger and onion; Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the tofu, garlic, onion and ginger in it and set aside

STEP 2
For the light sauce, mix cream cheese, mayo and lime juice

STEP 3
For the dark sauce, mix gochujang with soy sauce, mirin and agave syrup

STEP 4
Cut the avocado and spring onions into strips

STEP 5
Heat the taco shells, fill them with all the ingredients and sprinkle with coriander
