Ingredients

For 20 pieces

  • 200 g glutinous rice flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 400 g coconut milk
  • 150g strawberries
  • 1 tbsp Want Want milk drink
  • some sugar as needed
  • Rice flour for shaping

STEP 1
Puree the strawberries and set aside 4 tablespoons

STEP 2
Add the milk drink to the remaining strawberries, puree well until a uniform mass is obtained and sweeten a little if necessary

STEP 3
Pour 20 portions of the strawberry filling into small ice cube molds and place them in the freezer

STEP 4
In the meantime, for the mochi dough, mix the glutinous rice flour with coconut milk, sugar and the 4 tablespoons of strawberry puree, stir until smooth and place in a microwave-safe bowl

STEP 5
Cover the bowl with cling film, poke a few holes in it and then microwave it for 30 seconds

STEP 6
Then stir well and repeat this step about 3-5 times until a sticky dough forms

STEP 7
Using rice flour, shape the dough into 20 pieces and roll them out individually into circles, add the filling from the freezer and then seal each mochi with your fingers
